My four loves.

One day my love loved me, and a while later came a much bigger love - so completely profound, whole, natural, terrifying and true.

This same love found me four times over.
Their names are luca. mason. ava and ivy.

I marvel at how lucky am i. how lucky are they. if not for that loving on those very days, would they still be? i dare not imagine otherwise.

Magic Day Magic Mountain.

Ivy, Mason and I visited Sherrie in her brothers apartment on Magic Mountain. Next year she'll marry Javier there. It's so beautiful, with the Pacific Ocean all around - I can't wait to do their photos!

Ivy lay around on the carpet, taking in the views. I can never resist picking up the camera when she's around!

I feel pretty. Oh so pretty.

Well actually, that's a lie. BUT that little ditty is the theme song playing in my head while I share my new obsession - Alannah Hill. The other day I visited the divine AH boutique in Queens Plaza and I will now be referring to all the days before April 27th as "B.A" (before Alannah).

This woman, and her glorious clothing, have changed my life. Overnight I've gone from being a huge devotee of the oh so elegant peasant skirt teamed with Havianas (yes, I know it's sooo 2005) to wanting to own a closet full of pencil skirts, pointy stilettos and twinsets. Forget gloss, I want to wear lipstick. And stockings. I think I want an apron. Oh the possibilities!!

(Now, if I could just get out my pyjamas...)

I AM the anti-mummy.

I'm standing in David Jones with Sherrie and Hayley, having a whale of a time spending up and doing the girl thing when there's a lull in the piped elevator music, long enough for me to hear the mobile message tone thingy.
Fast forward 90 seconds and all laugher and spending has stopped. I'm soooo panicking, Luca has been left at school, all forgotten, because I had a mind lapse for the entire day and failed to arrange after school care. At this point I'm over an hour away, can't get in touch with Crayton and suddenly realising just how utterly stupid it was to try and arrange this "day away"..
Forty seven telephone calls later and he's been bundled off to the appropriate building and I've come over all teary, my bossoms are leaking and I'm missing Ivy like crazy. Shopping doesn't seem like fun anymore and I feel a World, not an hour, away from my kids.
( and I wonder if today's the day it will be discovered that I'm only pretending to be a fully acredited Mother.)

A new blog for friends afar to keep up with our happenings, and a lot there are with four busy monsters!

Today Ivy and I shopped, we procrastinated over the new Canon 30D and came home empty handed. I'll take the plunge in the next few weeks, before I head up to Townsville for some shoots. If only lenses didn't cost more than the camera...I'd add a few of those too!

Did manage to purchase a top and coat for me and *more* clothes for the kids...(insert whining voice)..but they were on sale!!!.

My most favourite find though was a beautiful range of china for my tea party themed shoot planned for June..I can't wait to get Ava and Aria together, along with a million cupcakes (am I supposed to bake them??) and all things girly...I've wanted to do it forever. I got my brows done at Estee Lauder yesterday and the brow girl, Meg, reminisced about sunny days as a toddler on her Mother's patio where they shared ribbon sandwiches and sugared water as a daily ritual..I'm so inspired to do that with my girls - those things are the reason I had them :)
